I went to meet WeiYing to zhng my camera yesterday. Being a rookie in zhng-ing camera, I need master like WeiYing to guide me to zhng!
First we went to arab street. Wei Ying told me the shop we went to is the shop that Xiaxue recommended. Cheap and good quality.
I bought 4 packets of Lighted Peach size 12 crystals - each at $7 with 144 pieces in it. And a tool for picking the crystal - $10.
So the price should be
($7 x 4) + $10 = $38!!But without the need to bargain price, the indian man lower the price for you. He does that to every customers.
After discount:
$31. Don't ask me why that $1, I don't wanna ask why also. HAHAHA.
Then we proceed to other store to dig for other colour crystals that can make my name stand out from my camera!
Final decision: Black crystal - $2.80 with very little crystals.
Well anyway I don't need much, it's only for my name.
By right I should get a tray for convenient use when picking the crystal, and also epoxy glue. But thanks to Wei Ying, she sponsored the glue and tray for me. =D Save money!
Wei Ying asked me what style and design do I want for my camera. My head filled with question marks.
"Got japanese style, got ang mo style.""What's the diff??""Japanese style anyhow paste on one, messy messy one. Ang mo one very neat.""Of course I want it neat!"
Xiaxue's phone. DAMN CHIO. Wei Ying told me Xiaxue's handphone belong to Japanese style. Hmmm.. Messy meh? I think damn chio with the combination of different colours! Look so candy~

I wanted to make my camera like this. With a small icon at the side, then start to zhng all crystals on. But WeiYing say it's hard, so I didn't do it.
Plain and simple.
FUCK CHIO! I like!!! But I think need alot time and also quite hard to make them neat! And I scared I will "3 minute hot". hahaha. Like awhile then don't like.

Ta dah~ Done! My chio golden camera! At the corner is my name Mui. BUT! Not very obvious, because the gold crystals is too bright. HAHAHA.
Wei Ying Big three steps!
1) Paste a layer of protection on the part that you want to paste the crystals on!
You can get the transparent sticky layer from Art Friend. Cut and paste according to your preference.
2) Spread the epoxy glue!!
There are two types of glue: Fast drying and slow drying. Get slow drying if you think the zhng process takes about 1 hour. Fast drying usually for smaller portion.
3) Zhng your name/logo before you start to fill up the camera with crystals!
I let Wei Ying do my name because I am new to such thing.
Then she handed over to me to try doing it myself!
