7 years today, at night, I was selling donation tickets at the void deck. Never did I know that I will meet this stranger, who bought 4 donation tickets, costed $2 each, became my boyfriend until now.
I remember seeing him riding his motorbike into the carpark. He parked and I went up to him, and asked if he wants to donate for the needies. Immediately he agreed and handed $50 to me. I did not have much cash with me so he said he can go home and take for me. I waited at the bench for him, I remember it was quite long, maybe about 30 minutes?
I thought he cheated me and I decided to stop waiting. Suddenly I saw him walking to me and passed 4 $2 to me and I passed him 4 donation tickets. He then went to fitness corner while I went to the playground. I admit I was peeping at him all the times HAHAHA, and was hoping he notices me too.
Then suddenly he came to the playground and asked for my handphone number without his handphone, pen and paper. I laughed at him and asked how is he going to memorise my number when he has nothing to take down my number? He was embarrassed and we laughed it off.
*I don't know why I keep typing donate as donut.We walked home together not knowing we stayed at the same block and same unit but different storey. Then we realised we are neighbours!
I waited for his call so badly at home, hoping and hoping, and thought he could not remember my mobile number so he did not call. I was a bit disheartened and gave up. Just when I was about to sleep, he called. I mistook him as a China man because he spoke very swiftly over the phone. I was a bit rude to him at first because my family scolded me for giving my number to a stranger, a
MAN.
Slowly, we meet up at the void deck. We talked and played and walked dog together. My mother will always send a spy with me so I will be "safe".
I was a very shy girl, I won't know how to say "yes" when a guy asks if I can be his girlfriend. He asked a few times but I kept mum. I allowed him to hold my hands and I remember it was during 06 February 2004. He forced his kiss on me on valentine day. HAHAHA. I remember I cried and ran home HAHA DAMN EPIC.
Why did I set our "anniversary" on
23 December is because that is the day we first met each other, and we are love at first sight. It will be meaningless if I were to be so
gugu to say 06 February is our anniversary purely because we held hands on that date??
