White cockroach
Wednesday, February 2, 2011 @ 4:05 PM

Roaches are the most disgusting pest in the world, agree? It does not help in anything, only capable of spreading germs and bacteria.

Today, it's really an eye opening day to me. I woke up to see a dog flea on my blue towel, I killed it without much fear. Killing dog flea is really peanut butter to me, it's NOTHING.

I took my towel and clothes and went to the bathroom. Happily taking my own sweet time in the shower room, wash my hair, scrub my body. And suddenly, the peeled off painted wall has something white moving, something quite big in size.

A HUGE WHITE COCKROACH.

It's totally white, even the antenna is white. OMFG MY HAIR IS STANDING.

Its antenna kept moving, I guess it's the water coming from my side, I was so scared it will start to fly around and land on my naked body!!

I quickly dried myself and wore everything and ran out of the shower room with my wet hair still dripping.

I quickly told haw to come over to get rid of the white roach, he poured water to the roach to a hole, it escaped, and MORE BLACK ROACHES crawl out from the hole!!

I THINK THE BLACK ROACHES WERE FRIGHTENED BY THE WHITE ROACH LA HOW COME YOU ARE WHITE???

So what is happening? Why is there white roaches?

We have seen black ants and termites, normal humans and those "white" humans. Am I supposed to pity the roach to be like our "white" human? Cannot be exposed to the sun and all?

NO!

As research says,
"Every once in a while, you might find a white cockroach. If you do, you're seeing one in transition. As cockroaches mature, they discard their skin and grow a new, bigger skin. In the nearly 12 hours it takes to shed and then grow new skin, the roach is white."

I wonder how true is this statement. Never in my life ok! I had NEVER NEVER met a white cockroach before. Only here, in this kampong.

If it shed its skin once it grows mature, why don't I see white roach anywhere in Singapore? Or in my house, dirty enough!

Now everytime I shower, brush teeth, or even shit, I have to watch out for Mr white. He's so scary and I don't want to meet him anymore.

Bless my soul. Thank you.
