Design or Animal

In the phase of searching for life's target and career, everyone has to go through this. It sucks when reality smacks in your face and yells at you that what you wish is all in vain. Am I a design person or am I more of an animal person? Am I going to take design as my career and if I were to marry this guy I am with now, my career is able to link to his career. Or am I going to give up on design, forget about what I learned for the past 3 years, go for the "animal" career I want so badly, but all has to start all fresh again. I'm so lost, I don't know where to step my feet on. Times like this, I wish I have no emotional burden. You want me to choose? I don't know how to choose.
